Job Description
Come and work with this innovative technology company that is using technological advances to revolutionize surgical procedures. They are looking for a Systems Engineer to join their revolutionary team. This position is a broad role that will work in multiple aspects of device design and the development process. The Systems Engineer will support the Design Controls process using applicable regulations and standards.


What You Will Be Doing

  • Work with the Product Management team to identify stakeholder and user needs for our products
  • Collaborate with software, test, and hardware engineers to identify hardware and software subsystem specifications in order to implement measurable, verifiable, and achievable functional and performance requirements
  • Work with QA and RA teams to make sure design control deliverables are traceable and satisfy required regulation and compliance standards
  • Participate in product validations to ensure user needs are met
  • Drive system level requirements through interaction with subject matter experts


What You Will Need

  • A Bachelor's or other degree in Computer Science, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent education
  • 2 or more years' experience in the medical device industry and/or education in systems engineering
  • Familiarity with requirements management
  • Great organizational, communication, and documentation skills
  • Solid knowledge of GMP (good manufacturing practices) and other applicable Quality System Standards


Nice to Have

  • Experience working in design and development processes
  • Familiarity with medical device validation
  • Knowledge of Requirements Management tools (DOORS, JAMA, Cockpit, or other)
