What You Will Be Doing

  • Provide availability, security and reliability by keeping systems infrastructure 
  • Preserve both a high availability email infrastructure and backup systems infrastructure
  • Plan for future growth based on the organizational demand for compute and related infrastructure resources
  • Support with recommending technology to enhance processes and infrastructure visibility 

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, at least 5 years’ systems administration experience 
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange and its related technologies (LDAP, DNS, SMTP, IIS, MS Clustering, Database Availability Groups, Client Access)
  • Strong knowledge of Networking: Theory, Implementation, and Troubleshooting in a cross platform environment
  • Strong knowledge of Various Operating Systems (Windows, Linux, OS X) and Virtualized Infrastructures (VMWare, KVM, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of Backup, Recovery and Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity
  • Strong knowledge of Storage Systems (NAS, SAN, Object, and Tape Hardware) 

Nice to Have

  • More than 8 years of progressive experience is desirable 
  • Familiar with Information Governance (e.g. HIPAA, and other compliance regulations) and Software Development Principles and Workflows
  • Knowledge of Various Scripting Languages (BASH, Powershell, Python, etc.)
  • Understanding of Configuration Management Software (Puppet, Ansible, Chef), Source Control and Versioning Systems (Git, SVN)
