Job Description
Our client is a well-established, leading provider of financial services.  They offer a variety of plans that save customers on business expenses with convenient payment and reimbursement options.  They are currently looking to add a Project Manager to their team who can create the perfect platform for creating targeted, valuable business applications.     

 What You Will Be Doing

  • Develop and manage project plans for all aspects of the project including the RFP, sourcing, implementation, testing, change management, adoption and controls 
  • Responsible for the management of project scope, schedule, budget, issues, risks, and vendors
  • Mentor less experienced project managers
  • Collaborate and coordinate with department leaders and subject matter experts across business functions
  • Provide ongoing status reports indicating project health including earned value (EV) and schedule performance index (SPI)
  • Conduct post-implementation project reviews and assist with implementation of continuous improvement processes
  • Manage progress against project milestones and tasks, capture and manage risks and risk mitigation planning, capture and manage issues and issue resolution actions
  • Manage testing from Q/A through to UAT, assuring test results are captured and documented, along with signoffs and approvals
  • Maintain project documentation archive, inclusive of project planning, budget, signoffs and approvals, issue logs and risk logs  

What You Will Need

  • 5+ years of experience as project manager on technical projects
  • One or more successful enterprise scale implementation projects
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required
  • certification or demonstrated experience required
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills to all levels within the organization
  • Ability to manage expectations and collaborate with executive sponsors and steering committee members
  • Strong strategic and business leadership that will lead to project success
  • Ability to use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to determine the appropriate strategy in complex situations
  • Ability to model and assess business processes towards continuous process improvement
  • Ability to build, lead and develop project teams              

Nice to Have

  • Agile Scrum Master certification a plus
  • ITIL certification a plus
